City of Cape Girardeau Public Information Manager Nicolette Brennan works with government, public safety and social-service agencies to establish or refine their whole community and multi-channel communication systems. She is the former president of the Cape Girardeau American Advertising Federation, and is a founding member of both the Southeast Missouri Information Officers Association and Substance Use Prevention Education and Resources coalition of Cape Girardeau County. Brennan is also currently a candidate for the State of Missouri Seismic Commission. In addition, Brennan was selected as one of the first 24, three-week FEMA Master Public Information Officer course attendees, completing this prestigious designation in 2017. With degrees in mass media and information technology, and diverse work and civic experience, Brennan is as eager to learn from others as she is to share her own professional skills and knowledge.
