Join Us for the World's Largest Swimming Lesson at Central Pool

On June 24 at 12:15 p.m., the City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will be participating in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson, an event created by the nation’s top water safety and training organizations. Tens of thousands of kids and adults at various aquatic centers across the country will participate.
This is the fourth time Cape Girardeau will be participating in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. This year’s event will take place at Central Municipal Pool.
Pre-registration is available here. Participants will receive a free popsicle.
The national event was created to build awareness about the vital importance of teaching children to swim, helping to prevent drowning, all with the hopes of setting a new Guinness World Record.
