Public Open House on March 16 for the Neighborhood Street Repair 2016 Project in Cape Girardeau

All are welcome to attend on March 16 a public open house for the 2016 Neighborhood Street Repair program in Cape Girardeau. The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Osage Centre at 1625 North Kingshighway.
At the open house, City staff and the project contractor will be available to explain the project process. No formal presentation will be given.
The Neighborhood Street Repair project is funded by the re-purposed Armstrong Drive funds as approved by voters in Transportation Trust Fund 5 last August.
During the duration, streets will be repaired half of the width at a time. Work on one side of a street will take three to four weeks. Driveways will not be adjusted, and driveway access may be briefly hindered in some locations during concrete curing times. All project timelines can be affected by weather, and the proposed contract time is April through December 2016.
Streets to be repaired include: Northchurch Street from Magnolia Avenue to Lexington Avenue, Cannon Lane from Paul Revere Drive to Northchurch Street, Patriot Drive from Paul Revere Drive to Magnolia Avenue, 1137 Cypress Court to 3914 Valley View Lane, Eagle Ridge Drive from Cypress Court to Oak Ridge Court, Valley View Lane from Cypress Court to Kage Road, Oak Ridge Court from Hopper Road to Valley View Lane, Good Hope Street from South West End Boulevard to Hanover Street, Brentwood Drive and Rosewood Drive intersection, Dover Lane cul-de-sac, Keystone Drive from Copper Drive to 3039 Keystone Drive.
