Second Public Meeting on Nov. 19 for Downtown Sidewalk and Placemaking Plan

The public has another opportunity to provide input and review information about proposed downtown Cape Girardeau sidewalk and placemaking plans on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the second floor of the former Federal Building on Broadway.
The meeting is a follow-up to one held in September and will provide more detail on two sidewalk replacement options for Water, Main, and Spanish streets between Broadway and Independence Street.
Also, a refined placemaking concept for the Downtown Cape Girardeau Business District will be available for viewing and comment.
The meeting will be open-house style with no formal presentation. Participants may view displays and talk one-on-one with the project team to share ideas and provide comments.
Anyone with questions is asked to contact City of Cape Girardeau Development Services at 573-339-6327.
