Fire at 615 Bellevue Street – Nov. 22. 2015

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at 615 Bellevue 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, 2015.
Firefighters from Station 1 reported heavy black smoke showing from Station 1 at the time of call. Upon arrival, heavy black smoke and fire was reported throughout the building behind 615 Bellevue.
The fire was contained in approximately 20 minutes. The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The fire was contained to the building and no exposures were damaged. The fire is currently under investigation.
