Ameren Work to Affect Travel at Independence/East Rodney Dr. in Cape Girardeau – Starting 7/9/15

Beginning July 9, work by Ameren crews in Cape Girardeau will affect travel lanes near the Independence Street and East Rodney Drive intersection. The crews will be installing a gas regulator station just north of the intersection, and work is expected to continue for one week, weather permitting.
During construction, northbound and southbound travel lanes will be shifted and narrowed to allow Ameren to work on the east side of East Rodney. The travel lanes will be transitioned to normal widths during nights and over the weekend. As always, drivers are asked to use caution in the work zone.
