Called to above location at 11:28 a.m. on Apr. 28 for a report of a house on fire. Upon our arrival we found fire visible in the front of the structure. There was heavy smoke coming from the second floor windows and soffit. There were 4 engines and a ladder on the call. 3 Hose lines were pulled to extinguish the fire. Jackson sent an Engine over to help in coverage of the city along with a vehicle manned by Cape fire personal. There were 15 personnel on the scene. The House was vacant at the time but did have furniture inside the structure. The utilities were not functioning in the house as well. There were no civilian or fire department injuries. The house was valued at around 50,000 to 60,000 dollars. The house was determined to be a total loss.
