Public Meeting: Indoor Sports Venue

Join us Tuesday, May 5 at 6 p.m. at the Osage Centre for information on current sites and design-build projects for a proposed Indoor Sports Venue. There will be presentations by each of the project teams and an opportunity for the public to ask questions at the conclusion of all three presentations. The Indoor Sports Venue is intended to provide increased economic impact to the City of Cape Girardeau and the surrounding region similar to other regional facilities built using the Restaurant Tax funding source. These projects include the Show Me Center, River Campus, Osage Centre and Shawnee Park Sports Complex. The Sports Venue will be designed to host sports tournaments and events attracting additional tourism to the area. MODOT I-55 Lane Restriction

North and Southbound I-55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repairs.This section of roadway is located between MM 89 and MM 105. Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday, May 4 through Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily. Find more at:
