Join the City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department for the following festive, spring and Easter-themed events!
On March 24, come to the A.C. Brase Arena to learn how to bake in preparation for Easter! We will begin baking at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at 7 p.m. Kids ages 6-12 will learn how to bake cakes and cookies then use their own creativity to decorate them for Easter! Create an Easter Egg Tote Bag
Kids, ages 5-10 years old, will have to opportunity on March 25 to make their own Easter egg tote bags! The fun-filled night will take place at the Osage Centre from 5:30-7 p.m. Registration fees are $13 for Cape Girardeau residents and $16 for non-residents . Sign up by March 20 to secure your spot in the fun! For more information regarding registration or the event call 573-339-6340. All necessary materials will be provided; we will see you there!
We’re hosting Colorful Egg Day from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on March 26 at the 4-H Exhibit Hall. Join the in on the fun, and dye hard-boiled eggs before decorating them with stickers and other supplies. The deadline to register your child is March 20. The registration fee is $10 for Cape Girardeau residents and $12 for non-Cape Girardeau residents. The 4-H Exhibit Hall is located behind the A.C. Brase Arena at 410 Kiwanis Drive.
