Learn to Swim with the City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department this winter. Classes are enrolling now and are available from Feb. 23 to March 12, for ages 3 through adults. Classes will be held at the Central Municipal Pool on Thursdays from 6-6:45 p.m.
Many class levels and sections are available, and will address everything from water basics through some lifeguarding skills.
Class fees for children (under 14) are $35 for Cape Girardeau residents and $40 for non-residents. Adults (over 14) are $40 for residents and $45 for non-residents.
Private swim lessons are also available, providing one-on-one instructions. Times and days are determined on the availability of the student, instructor and facility space.
