The Cape Central Tigers football team made history this season, advancing to the Class 4 state title game held at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. The Tigers lost 48-21 to the Webb City Cardinals, who have won five consecutive state titles. The team and school officials attended the Dec. 15, 2014 City Council meeting to receive a proclamation honoring their success. The proclamation states that the Tigers amassed a 4-0 conference record and 3-0 district record, and were named both conference and district champions. Congratulations, Tigers, on a job well done!
