On Saturday 10-4-14 at approximately 4:15pm, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Marie St. in reference to a subject that was intoxicated in the area. Officers arrived and found a subject that appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and appeared to have fallen down and was bleeding. After the subject was checked out by medical personnel, he was placed under arrest for Minor Visibly Intoxicated. The subject was arrested and transported to the station. A separate investigation began, upon arrival to the station, regarding fraudulent state identification cards. A search warrant was conducted at the subjects residence in the 500 block of Washington St. in Cape Girardeau. Items were found inside the residence consistent with the manufacture and sale of fake state drivers licenses and identification cards. Warrants were issued for Seth B. Stevens, age 20, for Possession of Forging Instrumentalities and Counterfeiting. He is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.
