The City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting teams for the indoor co-ed volleyball league.
The deadline to enter is on Oct. 17 and the cost is $250 a team. League games are tentatively set to begin on Oct. 29 on Tuesdays and or Wednesdays at the Osage Centre.
There will be two different divisions available for teams to join. The first is the power division, which includes a strong level of playing with structured offensive and experienced defensive systems. The second is the intermediate division for those who have played before and have a general understanding of the rules.
Registration can be completed at the A.C. Brase Arena. A team must include at least three men and three women, who are not permitted to play on any other teams within the league. One payment can be made when registered and individual dues are up to the team manager.
A manager meeting will take place before the league begins for all team captains. It will take place at 6 p.m. on Oct. 17 at the Osage Centre.
