This fall, the Cape Girardeau Central Municipal Pool will not be offering group swim lessons. Instead, they plan on offering private lessons to anyone who is interested.
For the past few years, group swim lessons in the fall have had low attendance. This year, the pool’s instructors are offering one-on-one lessons to hopefully enroll more people in classes.
Enrollment is available to anyone from 4-years old to adulthood, and lessons will be taught based on instructor availability. Lessons cost $50 for three, 45-minute sessions.
Previously, group classes offered 12 sessions per payment, but students participating in fall classes are only one child per instructor. Payments for classes are only accepted in three session increments. Parents are encouraged to book more appointments until they feel comfortable about their child’s abilities.
There are multiple instructors available for lessons which will be planned around both parties’ schedules.
Children can be registered for fall swim classes by contacting the Cape Municipal Pool at 573-335-4040.
