Additional July Riverboat Dockings Added in Cape Girardeau

The American Queen and Queen of the Mississippi riverboats have added a total of four planned stops in Cape Girardeau during the month of July.

Originally scheduled to visit on July 2 and 21, dockings have been added on July 7, 16 and 18 by both majestic riverboats.

The schedule is as follows:

 Tuesday, July 2 American Queen 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Tuesday, July 2 – Wednesday, July 3 Queen of the Mississippi 7 p.m. – Noon
Sunday, July 7 American Queen 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
 Sunday, July 7 – Monday, July 8 Queen of the Mississippi 6 p.m. – Noon (TBD)
Tuesday, July 16-Wednesday, July 17 Queen of the Mississippi 7 p.m. – Noon (TBD)
Thursday, July 18 American Queen 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, July 21 American Queen 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Thursday, July 31     American Queen                  Noon – 5 p.m.

The riverboat companies have added additional stops visiting Cape Girardeau for their guests due to continued high river levels on the Tennessee and Ohio Rivers.

Public access on-board the riverboats is prohibited according to security measures, but everyone is invited to come downtown to the riverfront to and enjoy a glimpse of floating history.
