SMASH Volleyball Leagues 1 and 2 are Coming Soon

The City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will host their developmental SMASH volleyball leagues from March 21 to April 27.

SMASH (Serve, Move, Attack, Set, Hit) is a program that allows children from the third through sixth grades the opportunity to learn the basics of volleyball. Coaches and players from Cape Central and Jackson High Schools teach children how to pass, set, serve, and spike.

Children in the fifth and sixth grades, who have participated in the SMASH program for at least two years, may sign up for the new program called SMASH 2.

The sign up fee is $45 per child, which includes a t-shirt and complimentary volleyball.
