Lower your local environment footprint by participating in the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ pesticide collection program in our area.
All Missouri residents and farmers can bring waste chemicals to the Kennett Compost Station, 18464 County Road 508 in Kennett, on Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program is only being offered once. Chemical collection and processing is provided by the Environmental Quality Company.
The following items are accepted, and will be recycled for free: fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, rodenticides and fertilizers containing herbicides or pesticides. This collection event is to serve individual households and small or family farmers. Pesticides from businesses, production facilities, distributors and retailers will not be accepted.
