Cape Girardeau’s Technical Rescue team trains frequently to respond at home and even in neighboring counties. The training scenario illustrated below could easily happen in real life. Imagine a trapped window washer toward the top of the television tower, or a maintenance person in distress in the catacombs beneath the college or in a construction environment. Some of our regional neighbors do not have equipment or the personnel to train but they could have a child trapped or injured in a cave. Strange and dangerous things can happen. Here’s how our team was training for it yesterday.
