Ribbon Cutting at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course April 28

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 12 p.m. to mark the completion of a new restroom facility for the back nine holes of the Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course in Cape Girardeau.

The Cape Jaycees and the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Foundation donated funds totaling $28,000 for the project. The new facility replaces an outdated restroom built in 1990, and eliminates the use of portable toilets on the back nine holes for golf patrons.

The City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department and Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course thanks the Cape Jaycees and various staff for their hard work and donations.

For more information about the project contact the golf course at 573-339-2031, or Parks and Recreation at 573-339-6340.
