Merry Christmas to All – Wednesday, Dec. 7  from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Osage Centre. $2 residents, $3 non-residents. Help spread joy to all! Children ages 5-12 make a card for their parents, and another card that we will send to a senior citizen at a selected nursing home. Registration required by Dec. 5.

Breakfast with Santa – The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department along with the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Foundation will be sponsoring the fifth annual Breakfast With Santa on Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Osage Centre.

Children and parents can come and enjoy donuts, danishes, muffins, bagels, biscuits and gravy, milk and juice with Santa. Parents are invited to bring their cameras to capture their child’s special moment. Santa arrives at 9:00 a.m., but you are more than welcome to join us at anytime between 9-11 a.m.  Cost is $5 per child, $8 for two children, $11 for three children, and $5 per adult.

Christmas Happenings – Wednesday, Dec. 14  10-11:15 a.m., at the Osage Centre.  $8 residents, $10 non-residents. Special morning for parents and toddlers, ages 2-4, to celebrate the holidays with crafts, games, snacks, and more!

Cookies for Santa – Wednesday, Dec. 14  5:30-7 p.m., at the A. C. Brase Arena.  $10 residents, $11 non-residents. Children ages 3-5 will bake cookies to enjoy and to take home and set by the tree for Santa. Registration required by Dec. 12

Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt – Friday, Dec. 16  6:30-7:30 p.m., at the Osage Centre. $3 each pre-registered person, $5 day of event. Did you hear the latest news? A particular someone has left candy canes all over the grounds of Osage Park. Bring your flashlights and help us find them! When you arrive at the Osage Centre you’ll decorate a bag to collect the candy canes. After the hunt we’ll enjoy cookies and hot chocolate. You’ll even get to make a Christmas list for Santa, telling him everything you want for Christmas. Parents must accompany their children; event is for ages 2 and up. Please pre-register by Dec. 15.

Christmas Vacation Day Camp – Tuesday-Friday, Dec. 27-30
8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., at the A. C. Brase Arena. $66 residents, $72.50 non-residents. This day camp for children ages 6-12 will include baking cookies, playing holiday games, watching classic holiday movies, and much more. Child care available. Registration required by Dec. 16.
