Juveniles Charged with Making a Terroristic Threat

The three juvenile subjects involved in making a threat earlier in the week at Central Senior High School were identified by school officials, detained, and removed from the school. The subjects were then interviewed by law enforcement and they have subsequently been charged with Terroristic Threat. They are being detained in a juvenile detention facility. The three juveniles did not have any firearms in their possession, nor did they have a date set for their plan to be carried out.  Searches of their residences and school property did not reveal any evidence of firearms.
According to school officials, the involved students have been suspended from the school, and are recommended for long-term suspension.  It should be noted that during suspension, these juveniles are not allowed on any district property or at any school event.
The criminal investigation is ongoing.
