St. James AME Pastor Renita Lamkin
New local pastor Renita Lamkin comes to Cape from St. Charles, Missouri. The African Methodist Episcopal has a proud history of active community involvement and she’s helping her parishioners continue on that path. She has a few new programs in the works, and she’s heavily focused on listening to folks and their needs as she believes that people are certainly the experts on their own lives. She says people know what they need to thrive. “I don’t always have the answers, but the answers are there and together we’ll find them,” says Lamkin. “Every problem has a solution.”
